COMMUNION UNDER SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
During the Covid-19 crisis, St. Mark's is making this central part of our worship service available in two different ways each week, in addition to our normal worship services. If you would like to receive the sacrament either delivered to your home or to pick up curbside, see the information below.
Between 8:00 am and 11:00 am each Sunday, curbside pick-up of communion will be available in front of St. Mark's Chapel. You will receive an envelope with a copy of the Service for Communion Under Special Circumstances and the number of consecrated communion wafers needed for you/your household.
Clergy or lay Eucharistic ministers will leave on your doorstep a copy of the Service for Communion Under Special Circumstances prayer book service, along with sealed consecrated wafers for you/your household. To all those who ask, we will attempt to deliver on Sunday morning between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Illinois only. Fill out the following form to receive communion at home.
To Change Your Preference
As we prepare to meet together again, if you would like to change your preference as to how you receive communion, email the church office at
or call at 630-232-0133 before 5 p.m. on Saturday. Communion will still be available both delivered and curbside, while you may also attend services to receive it there.
