Serve in the Church

We are grateful at St. Mark's to have a number of volunteers of all ages to serve in worship and in the everyday operations of the church. There are many ways to serve. For more information or to volunteer, use the contact form below.

Worship Arts

Music plays an especially important role in Anglican worship. St. Mark’s offers a vibrant music program that touches parishioners of all ages through its choirs during worship on Sunday mornings, at Holy Week and Christmas Eve services, and special events throughout the year. Those with talents in music can find out more about serving on the Worship Arts page.

StM Kids

Our programming is impossible without devoted volunteers. StM Kids ministry currently includes greeters, teaching shepherds and special event volunteers. Contact   for more information.

For those already serving as Kids Connect greeters or PreK Assistants, please use these sign-up lists to schedule your service.

StM Youth

StM Youth adult leadership is needed for various programs and events. Contact for more information.

Currently we are in need of those willing to serve dinner to our Sunday Night Cornerstone Groups. This is a great opportunity to both serve and connect meaningfully with our youth.

Prodigal Cafe

Families, individuals, and groups of friends are invited to volunteer on a rotating schedule as bakers and hosts during our time of fellowship on Sunday mornings. It's a lovely way to meet and chat with your fellow St. Markers, and you don't have to miss worship! Choose a date and task on the Prodigal Cafe signup page:

Garden Guild

Garden Guild members donate time and talent to beautify and maintain the church and Larrabee House grounds and plantings. The grounds include lawn, trees, shrubs, a rose garden, and both annual and perennial flower beds. The guild works throughout the year, clearing and planting in the spring, maintaining the lawn and plants in the summer, and raking and pruning in the fall. We also coordinate spring and fall workdays in which all St. Markers are invited to work an hour or two at a job they might enjoy. The guild welcomes and encourages new members at any time. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page to volunteer.

Office Help

St. Mark's welcomes people who like to make copies, stuff envelopes, work on our bulletin, or do a number of office duties. All that's needed is some free time, a cheerful attitude, and a desire to serve. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page to volunteer.

Property Upkeep

Responsibilities of the Property Commission include maintenance of the physical plant (the church, chapel, Larrabee House) and the grounds, landscaping, and parking lot. The commission is also responsible for security and safety and monitors the use of all facilities by staff, congregation, and outside community groups. We meet on the first Monday of every month from 7:30–9:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.

We are currently in need of help on the Security Team. Anyone interested in serving should use the contact form at the bottom of the page to volunteer.
