Shepherding and leading a group of people toward spiritual growth is fun and challenging. Here are some important resources that will support your ministry as a leader.

Who We Are and What We Value–This document gives the overall direction of our church ministry and how Cornerstone Groups fit in.

Cornerstone Group Basics–This document briefly outlines the nuts and bolts of Cornerstone Groups and gives expectations for groups and group leadership.

Leadership Application–Necessary to complete prior to leading a Cornerstone Group.

Creating a Cornerstone Group Covenant–A practical guide to leading your group through the covenant building process.

The Direct Study of Scripture for Cornerstone Groups–This document highlights three ways CGs can engage in direct Bible study.  Direct study of scripture is the church’s recommended best practice for engagement, discussion and growth. It also helps individuals become less intimidated with opening up the Bible on their own.

Sample Curriculum for Cornerstone Groups–This document has a few recommendations to spark the search for your group’s next study. For those groups that would like to go with a published guide or book.

Leader Self-Evaluation–This simple 5-10 minute group check-in tool asks some essential questions about the state of your Cornerstone Group. It was presented at the May 2019 Cornerstone Group Leader gathering.

KINGS - Here is the PDF study which the church used for our all-church study from Epiphany to Holy Week 2020.

So Jesus called them and said to them, “You know that among the Gentiles those whom they recognize as their rulers lord it over them, and their great ones are tyrants over them. But it is not so among you; but whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all. For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:42-45
